Jamie is a dedicated nonprofit professional with a strong focus on development and programs. As a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), she is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical fundraising, adhering to the AFP Code of Ethical Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights to ensure transparency, trust, and donor confidence. She also mentors fellow fundraisers through weekly sessions, supporting their professional growth.
Jamie’s career spans both nonprofit and government sectors. She previously worked for the U.S. Department of State at the Consulate in Hong Kong and Macau as the Community Liaison Officer. Additionally, she has gained experience through political internships and program development internships with Congressional campaigns and the American Red Cross.
She holds a B.A. in World Cultural Studies from the University of Oklahoma and an M.A. in Nonprofit Management from the University of Hong Kong.
As a military spouse, Jamie has embraced travel and cultural exploration, having lived in China, Hong Kong, and the Republic of Korea and visited more than 15 countries. When she’s not working, she enjoys backpacking, kayaking, and competing in dragon boat racing. She also stays busy with her three children and three dogs.
