Dr. Saperstein is married and the mother of two adult children and grandparent of four grandchildren all living in Los Angeles. After her three-year-old granddaughter was diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma brain tumor in July, 2022 she became actively involved with understanding the treatment modalities for survivors and their families across all modalities including medical and psychological. She hopes to contribute to the foundation by supporting and encouraging all members of this community to obtain the best possible outcome and care for their families.
In her free time, Dr. Saperstein enjoys spending time with her husband, her children, grandchildren, close family and friends, traveling and cooking. She likes to think of herself as open to listening, understanding and supporting the needs of her community both patients, family and acquaintances. Her primary interest is in making a difference for all members of the family impacted by the diagnosis of a craniopharyngioma, the designated patient, caregivers, siblings and extended family members.
