The Raymond A. Wood Foundation (RAWF) seeks a mission-driven, detail-oriented Development & Fundraising Coordinator to strengthen the foundation’s fundraising infrastructure and donor engagement. This 20-hour-per-week contract role will support day-to-day fundraising operations, campaign execution, and data management, enabling the organization to sustain and grow its impact for survivors of hypothalamic-pituitary brain tumors.
This position works closely with the Executive Director and Major Donor Development Officer, providing essential coordination, system support, and reporting across all fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities
Donor Database & Gift Management
- Maintain and manage RAWF’s donor database (Bloomerang), ensuring accuracy and timely data entry.
- Process and acknowledge all donations, generate thank-you letters, and maintain donor records.
- Track donor activity and pledges; assist in ensuring follow-ups are completed.
Campaign Support & Coordination
- Assist in planning and implementing fundraising campaigns (e.g., Giving Tuesday, year-end, capital initiatives).
- Prepare mailing lists, segment donors, and track campaign progress and outcomes.
- Help coordinate production of campaign materials in collaboration with communications staff.
Analytics & Reporting
- Generate regular reports on donor activity, retention, giving trends, and campaign results.
- Support the Executive Director with data for board presentations, grant proposals, and strategic decisions.
Stewardship & Communication
- Ensure consistent and personalized donor follow-up, stewardship emails, and updates.
- Coordinate donor touches and recognition in alignment with RAWF’s tone and values.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or development coordination.
- Familiarity with donor databases (Bloomerang strongly preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written communication and ability to represent RAWF with professionalism and warmth.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and cloud-based collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- Comfortable working independently as a contractor within a small, mission-driven team.
