Each year during Brain Tumor Awareness Month, the Raymond A. Wood Foundation (RAWF) hosts Art of Surviving, an inspiring fundraiser that showcases the creativity, resilience, and stories of brain tumor survivors and their loved ones. This year, we are thrilled to introduce our two esteemed judges for the event: Sam Genovese and Laura Jenkins — two talented artists who bring not only expertise but also deep personal connection to our cause.

Art of Surviving: A Celebration of Resilience
Art of Surviving is more than just an art show — it is a testament to the strength, creativity, and hope that defines the brain tumor community. With artists submitting paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, and mixed media pieces, the event highlights the profound healing power of artistic expression.
Thanks to the support of judges like Sam and Laura, we are able to honor the stories behind each piece, celebrate survivor voices, and raise critical funds for RAWF’s mission: improving the lives of those affected by hypothalamic-pituitary brain tumors.
Stay tuned for the unveiling of this year’s gallery and see the incredible work these artists — and our amazing community — have created!
