Le 6 mars 2020, il a subi une intervention chirurgicale de 10 heures qui a failli lui co\u00fbter la vie. Dans la salle d'op\u00e9ration, le m\u00e9decin \u00e9tait pr\u00eat \u00e0 retirer une masse qui se trouvait sur l'hypophyse, mais en tentant l'op\u00e9ration, on a d\u00e9couvert que la masse \u00e9tait accroch\u00e9e \u00e0 l'hypophyse, ce qui la rendait difficile \u00e0 retirer. Au cours de l'op\u00e9ration, Gadiel a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 faire une h\u00e9morragie et a fait un arr\u00eat cardiaque pendant 15 minutes. Les m\u00e9decins ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 ranimer Gadiel et \u00e0 \u00e9tancher l'h\u00e9morragie, mais moins de 24 heures apr\u00e8s l'op\u00e9ration, Gadiel a contract\u00e9 une m\u00e9ningite et une pneumonie et a endur\u00e9 25 jours de douleur et d'immobilit\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\"Notre voyage nous a conduits \u00e0 quatre codes blues, \u00e0 de nombreux moments effrayants et \u00e0 un s\u00e9jour complet de six mois \u00e0 l'h\u00f4pital\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Heyde, la m\u00e8re de l'enfant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Gadiel a \u00e9t\u00e9 diagnostiqu\u00e9 avec un d\u00e9ficit en arginine vasopressine (AVP-D, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom de diab\u00e8te insipide), l'incapacit\u00e9 du cerveau \u00e0 g\u00e9rer l'\u00e9quilibre hydrique du corps, ce qui peut entra\u00eener des niveaux de sodium anormalement \u00e9lev\u00e9s ou bas dans le sang qui peuvent provoquer des crises, le coma et peuvent \u00eatre fatals. En raison de la raret\u00e9 de cette pathologie, il n'existe pas d'appareil utilisable \u00e0 domicile pour mesurer le taux de sodium dans le sang, ce qui rend la prise en charge de cette pathologie tr\u00e8s difficile. Souvent, le patient doit se soumettre \u00e0 des examens de laboratoire sous la forme de pr\u00e9l\u00e8vements de sang veineux presque quotidiens. Pour les enfants qui ont de petites veines, une faible tol\u00e9rance \u00e0 la douleur et la peur des aiguilles, cela est particuli\u00e8rement difficile.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Selon M. Heyde, M. Gadiel est un \"dur \u00e0 cuire\" lorsqu'il s'agit de faire des prises de sang. Il doit \u00eatre hospitalis\u00e9 pour chaque pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement car il faut environ deux heures pour pr\u00e9lever un \u00e9chantillon de sang \u00e0 des fins d'analyse. Selon elle, de tous les diagnostics et de tous les d\u00e9fis, les prises de sang sont les pires pour lui.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">La Fondation Raymond A.
