Apr\u00e8s une intervention chirurgicale transsph\u00e9no\u00efdale r\u00e9ussie, Erin a retrouv\u00e9 la vue. Erin s'estime tr\u00e8s chanceuse que sa situation se soit r\u00e9solue gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la chirurgie, et a \u00e9t\u00e9 attir\u00e9e par la Raymond A. Wood Foundation par le d\u00e9sir d'aider d'autres personnes atteintes de tumeurs li\u00e9es \u00e0 l'hypophyse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Erin est originaire de Pennyslvanie et vit actuellement \u00e0 Pittsburgh avec sa famille.  Elle aime voyager, faire de la randonn\u00e9e, skier et passer du temps avec sa famille et ses chiens.  Elle si\u00e8ge actuellement au conseil de d\u00e9fense des patients et des familles de l'Allegheny General Hospital, o\u00f9 elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 op\u00e9r\u00e9e. Her road to diagnosis was long, and not pinpointed until her vision was impacted. After a successful transsphenoidal surgery, Erin\u2019s vision was restored. Erin feels very fortunate that her situation resolved with surgery, and was drawn to the Raymond A. Wood Foundation by a desire to help others with pituitary related tumors. Erin is a Pennyslvania native and currently lives in Pittsburgh with her family. She enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing and spending time with her family and her dogs. She currently serves on the Patient and Family Advocacy Council for Allegheny General Hospital where she had her surgery.
