Era lo que podr\u00eda denominarse un \"alma vieja\". <\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Unos dolores de cabeza extremos nos llevaron a urgencias, donde nos diagnosticaron un tumor cerebral a las 11 de la noche de noviembre. A la ma\u00f1ana siguiente, Micah tuvo que someterse a una operaci\u00f3n de urgencia para aliviar la presi\u00f3n del cerebro, que fue la primera de muchas operaciones para tratar el tumor cerebral y comenzar nuestro curso acelerado para aprender a vivir con todas las enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas y potencialmente mortales que causar\u00eda, incluso despu\u00e9s de su extirpaci\u00f3n. Tras 18 meses de esc\u00e1neres limpios, el tumor reapareci\u00f3, lo que oblig\u00f3 a Micah a someterse a 30 rondas de radioterapia cerebral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Una de las enfermedades que padece Micah (diabetes ins\u00edpida) le impide regular el equilibrio de l\u00edquidos de su cuerpo. Hemos estado entrando y saliendo del hospital, incluso hemos estado en la UCI varias veces debido a las dificultades con este problema, adem\u00e1s de muchas otras cosas. <\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">M\u00e1s recientemente, Micah sufri\u00f3 un derrame cerebral masivo y debilitante que da\u00f1\u00f3 75% del lado derecho de su cerebro en noviembre de 2018 debido a un desequilibrio de fluidos. Este accidente cerebrovascular nos mantuvo en el hospital y rehabilitaci\u00f3n durante m\u00e1s de tres meses.  Actualmente est\u00e1 volviendo a aprender a comer, caminar, hablar y, lo que es m\u00e1s importante, est\u00e1 aprendiendo a vivir en un mundo oscuro debido al hecho de que el accidente cerebrovascular le quit\u00f3 la vista. Su equilibrio de l\u00edquidos sigue siendo dif\u00edcil de controlar, por lo que tenemos que ir al laboratorio o a urgencias cada semana para que le hagan an\u00e1lisis de sangre, adem\u00e1s de controlar todas sus dem\u00e1s enfermedades.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Micah tiene ahora 13 a\u00f1os y, aunque su vida no es nada f\u00e1cil, sigue adelante y se niega a rendirse.
