Las calles de Nueva York estaban llenas de energ\u00eda, optimismo y determinaci\u00f3n mientras un entregado grupo de corredores se preparaba para dar el pistoletazo de salida a su carrera hacia la meta en el United Airlines Media Marat\u00f3n de Nueva York<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuestros corredores eran una mezcla diversa de personas atra\u00eddas por nuestra causa de mejorar la calidad de vida de los supervivientes de tumores cerebrales hipotal\u00e1mico-hipofisarios. Entre los miembros del equipo de este a\u00f1o se encontraban Midelgie, corredora de marat\u00f3n por primera vez, Erin, miembro de la junta de RAWF y superviviente de un tumor cerebral hipofisario, y Cecilia, m\u00e9dico biotecn\u00f3loga de Rhythm Pharmaceuticals, que ha dedicado los \u00faltimos seis a\u00f1os a mejorar la atenci\u00f3n a las personas con obesidad hipotal\u00e1mica y a ayudarnos a acercarnos a un tratamiento eficaz. Completaban el equipo Amy, directora ejecutiva de RAWF, y Faith, que lleva tres a\u00f1os trabajando con Alex, superviviente de un craneofaringioma.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cada una de estas incre\u00edbles mujeres llev\u00f3 su dedicaci\u00f3n y esp\u00edritu a la l\u00ednea de meta y ayud\u00f3 a recaudar m\u00e1s de 1.000 millones de euros.\u00a0$17,000<\/strong>\u00a0para apoyar nuestro trabajo.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
